SOCIAL TUNES #1 Social Media & Non Profit
The SOCIAL TUNES Meetup wants to attract young online professionals who have the urge to (further) develop their social media ambitions within their organization.
- SOCIAL: This Meetup is dedicated to bringing like-minded and ambitious individuals together in a series of informal and inspiring sessions. This Meetup is aimed at discussing the common social media obstacles these young professionals face.
- TUNES: ‘You’ve got to find some way of saying it without saying it.’ (Jazz legend Duke Ellington) We believe that social media is based on discussion with a social focus or with a focus on subjects people feel passionate about. We aim to invite inspiring artists for our SOCIAL TUNES Meetup for our entertainment and also to help us understand and re-discover what is needed when you want to truly bond with people.
Programma
SOCIAL TUNES #1 will be aimed at young online professionals in the Non Profit sector. What we have planned for our kick-off Meetup is:
- Musical inspiration by Susan Zeegers (susanzeegers.com)

- resentation by Revolver Media and Wakker Dier about their successful campaign for Wakker Dier (www.ancillastript.nl)
- An interactive session about Wetlands international by Sander Carpay
- Music provided by dialoguesamsterdam.nl/joomla/) + chit chat with drinks
The Meetup will start at 20.00 and will last until 22.00, followed bij drinks till 23.00. Please be on time.
In the fall SOCIAL TUNES #2 will be organised where the focus will be “Luxury brands and Social Media”. More info on this Meetup coming soon…

Went to the Red Light District to hear more about the Social Tunes. A brave initiative with a nice small crowd. Mixing non-profit with music, sexy-ness and marketing. For next time i would prefer an even more open setting and more discussion. The Conversation Prism is an inspiring starting point for those whom i spoke to who wanted to learn more about ‘being social’. Also check out the blog.
