This event will change the kinds of Christmas conversations you have this year. Augmented Reality can bring everything from the Internet and layer it onto our physical experience. And that is just the start.
V2_ Institute for the Unstable Media is at the cutting edge of artistic/technological developments. They want to bring together players from all commercial, artistic, technological & public sectors to explore the (future) impact of Augmented Reality and generate dialogue and collaboration. Then realise or be surprised to find this event is for you. Augmented Reality is predicted to be a mass phenomenon in society by 2014. Understand it now, drive it forward & make strategic partnerships through this platform of the emerging AR ecosystem.
Programma
Your experience of this event will have three elements:
- Technology: Selected examples of how Augmented Reality can and has been used (including V2, Layar, and RFID Lab Den Hague)Participation / Dialogue / Interaction
- Focus on dialogue and personal interaction: Open Space, World Cafe, actively hosted conversations & exchange between participants (including featured speakers & specially invited guests!). The hosting is an important part of this event. Hosts are PortalToYourDreams with expertise in UnConference & assisted networking techniques. Plus, it will be fun!
- Cutting-edge Content / Insights. Selected presentations & invited guests will give extremely short examples of their work & projects to ensure the focus is on dialogue & discussion.
Confirmed and expected guests include: Prize-winning Dutch company LAYAR; Wikitude from Salzburg; a Munich based company that won a prize for its AR based campaign for IKEA; Marcel Wanders Studio; Second Sight Trend Magazine & specialists from the V2_ network.
PLUS: You become part of a growing network which we will continue to host after the event; with future activities in the pipeline. There will be refreshments & catering. The event is FREE but invite-only so please RSVP to the address stated on the attached flyer.
