Daniel Smidt

I have a background in arts and technology. Professionally​ I focus on web related technologies and digital transformation. As CTO and Solutions Architect I love to inspire and innovate with my Synetic colleagues and clients. As public speaker and writer I'd like to share my knowledge and passion in several communities.

I contribute to Open Source projects such as Lando, Composer and hold the position of Drupal Core subsystem maintainer.

During my MSc building technology I specialised in Design Informatics. I love architecture, both in the building industry and IT. Beauty and Functionality go hand in hand.

My work-experience is broad, it reaches from volunteering in worldwide non-profit organisations, working for agencies, enterprise clients, education and running my own company. I'm experienced in Programming, IT Architecture, DevOps, Customer Relations, Innovation, GDPR, ISO's and (team/tech) leadership and coaching.
