Teen Trends Online

According to America Online’s (AOL) Digital Marketing Services, most teenagers (82%) are sending and receiving e-mail online, but other popular online activities among teens include instant messaging (IM), even doing homework online. Digital Marketing Services surveyed 2,000 teenagers between the ages of 13 and 19, both AOL members and non-members, finding that over one-half of teens go online every day while 82% go online four or more days per week. Over 80% have listened to music online before. Specifically, 50% have downloaded music online and 40% listen to online radio stations. [eMarketer]
